Where are you?

Our vows said “forever and ever”
But im out here all alone.
My throat closes on the tears
I don’t want you to know.

Music plays and I listen to the words,
They say the things I never will.
Pain and anger, guilt and sorrow,
these are the things inside me.

Its so hard to tell the truth.
Is it hard for you, too?
I can turn my head and look at you,
But lately, you feel so far away.

I asked you to come to bed,
You closed your eyes and said no.
“I’ll sleep here.”
Why won’t you talk to me?
