Why
I've been told why, for most of my life.
"Why do you like her?" she's always on your mind.
I wasn't sure until I finally realised…
The 1st time was because she was pretty & nice,
2nd time, her personality had seasoning & spice,
3rd time, because I fell in love with her smile & eyes.

Sadly, fourth time, because I couldn't read her mind.
I loved the game, even though I'd never win,
I smiled from behind thinking I'm lying or is it a sign,
I've never got it right, but I've only tried twice.
So wish me luck, if I go for the third time.
As always it'd end up with my heart thrown in the bin

But, maybe, there's always a maybe, right? Hidden in disguise?
Or am I just going in and out of this box I call my mind?
I'm not sure, but I should fix it sometime,
When I'm finally free of the charges of loves crime.
I'm innocent, innocent, innocent!
Just heartbroken, like someone called Malificent.
