Prayer is Partnering with God.
During this Pandemic, one of the most searched key words on Google is Prayer. All most all kinds of Religious places were closed during the Lockdown. Most ungodly and non-religuous people also searched to pray somehow or the other during the lockdown. Many who work close to religion quickly realised that Prayer is one and only thing that you can do alone, anywhere at any time and nothing can stop.
May be the Prayer is the only religious activity that is pandemicproof. I am one of the person who turned to God in much tears and wearing for the suffering and dieing people during the pandemic due to Covid19. I had seen the worst cases of suffering not only in media and news but with my naked eye. During the first phase in 2020, many died at home isolation. After gross negligence of initial two weeks, many Covid effected people were moved to hospitals but did not survive. During the second wave, the covid and the crisis of beds and oxygen became a frightening issue and even more people died of fear of infection. Some admitted suicide when whole family got infected. Oh, what a terrible days we had gone through and crossed over. Today, I am writing this only because I am alive and I am alive today only because of Gods Grace as many would also say. But, I strongly feel that there is special Purpose beyond His Grace that strengthened is to survive. I exist today only to finish off the unfinished work according to His Purpose.
As I turned to God in Prayer the Lord had started to teach me a lot of this about Prayer. May be I prayer more and wept more in the year 2020 than ever before His Throne of Grace.
Prayer is not mere asking God to get things from God or to make your desires come true. The idea of Asking in Prayer is like, an adult explaining about the universe to an infant. Yes, there is truth that asking is involved in prayer. Asking in Prayer is like Talking on the Phone. If someone asks you, what do you do on the phone, the simplest answer is we talk with others. But inorder to talk with someone you need to have someone to call or someone who calls. I have a friend, whom I never met face to face. He calls me often and talk with me for hours in a week about a lot of things that often lead to a good spiritual feed. We may be busy and have no time for others but sometimes we must value someone who has time for us. You must listen to the one who has time for you for he or she is richer than you who dont have time for him or her. Do not neglect or discard those who are willing to invest their time with you and in you. There comes a day, you may have a mobile phone fully charged but no one to call or no one who calls that number. Friends are those who make you are break you. However, Spiritual Friends are often those who encourage you and try to build you up even at the worst point of discouragement or in a state of badly broken.
Sadly, many of us have no time to Pray though God has time to Listen to our prayers. If we don't search Him while He is found, later the situation would be different. One day the Father in Heaven is going to give All Nations of the World and All Things under His Rule as Inheritance. He who has time to listen to us today when we Pray shall also be so busy with His Father's Work, being exalted as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord. I strongly feel that we must call upon Him as long as He is found and available to us and willing to listen to our cry. Not only that, the Dead shall have no chance to Pray, they must remain Silent. We who are still left among the living during this pandemic or after must not be Silent as Dead but must Shout unto the Lord in Prayer.
Prayer is Turning to God. The moment you start praying whereever you are, you are Turning to God. Daniel prayed turning to wards Jerusalem the Holy City, while a small window towards was opened to his closed room. Now, The Door is opened for you to Pray. The Lord is willing to hear and answer what ever you Ask in His Name, the Great Big Door to The Father in Heaven.
The Lord taught to his disciples to pray just as He Prayer, My Father in Heaven. Jesus showed not only God in Him but gave access to His Father in Heaven to us by making us the Children of God. What a Privilege it is to have the God of Heaven as our Father in Heaven because of our Lord Jesus Christ. This very thing changes the whole definition and purpose of our daily prayers.
The Lord taught us to pray for His Will to be done on the Earth as it is done in the Heaven. This is impossible without prayer. The Prayer is the Key that is given to us to make Gods Will to happen in the World.
God had sent his Son to Earth not only die for our sin but to give us access to the Heaven through His Son. It is now given to you in Prayer. He has given Authority to open and close in Heaven to make them open or close in the Earth. This heavenly mechanism that is said and showed in Prayer by Jesus is a great Mystery. It is most advanced remote operation that we can see through prayer. In order to open something on the Earth, you have to open it in Heaven through Prayer from the Earth. The operations are done here but the Central Control of Heaven is given to us who Pray from Earth. The Heaven is not in need of anything. Whatever that is needed on the Earth shall be give from the Heaven as it is reported or opened from the Earth. Prayer is a total control and authority of the Earth which is from the Heaven given to us to operate now from the Earth.
Prayer is Partnering with what God is intended to do on Earth from Heaven. Prayer makes Gods will happen on the Earth as it is in the Heaven. If you are Partner with God, you are given Authority and Power to do things according to His Purpose and Will. The more you pray for His Will to be done according to His Purpose, your partnership shall increase. Your are Gods Partner on the Earth. God shall Honour your Prayers. Amen.
