Nigeria @60
To the great nation of Nigeria
On this days you turn sixty
You got Independence 60years ago
Our Ancestors fought so hard
To keep this day alive
A great nation birthed in 1960,
Land that flows in milks and honey.

The most populous black nation
Great “giant” of Africa
Wounded lion lying helplessly
Her land filled with inestimable measure
Dweller suffer like cows in desert
It’s hard smelling any glimmer, hope for her recovery.

Speak hope to the wounded nation
Speak hope to the great eagle
She’s met to fly high
High above the hemisphere.

A radiant with so much beauty
Her children are meant to be united and emerging
The good about her I grow up in gave me so much hope
I love the confidence and optimism
Well-like and vilifies as a nation
Her land is full of who is bunch greedy people.

Damage is cause to economic in years
She’s in state of serious coma
She’s in need of intervention
Needs desire in embrace lasting peace and unity
Her economic future dashed against the rock
A woman whom has everything
And lack everything.

Her many suffering strong validation
Bad leadership and outright
Mismanagement of her God-given wealth
Have kept her children crawling
A day are not criticize until nightfall
There’s hope of a better and prosperous country.

The heroes part are regretting
Fighting for the independent
Greed and monetary gains,
Have torn the great nation apart
Her children turn into slave in another man’s land
Where is the good thing God has given to you?

Oh Nigeria! Stop crawling
Stand up! Start walking
The crawling nation, stand up
Like the cedar of Lebanon
The labor of our heroes past
Must not be in vain.
