I don’t think you are stupid for loving them.
I think you're brave, despite all the red flags you saw, and the warning signs you saw.

You tried to love someone who's broken, anyway you tried to heal them. As many times you tried to show up for them. As you tried to help them, that is not stupid, that means you have a big heart.

That means you love harder than those people,
That means when you invest everything in those people you go more than a hundred percent. You give it your all. That doesn't mean because you give it to the wrong person doesn’t make you stupid.

It just shows you that you’re able to love someone. even if they hurt you. If you can love someone and pass all the pain they caused you, that is how you can love. and that’s a wonderful thing.

Not everybody can do that. You’re so selfless, to the point you go the extra mile. Just to make sure that they are happy. But they take advantage of your kindness.
