Pieces of my Parents
His little moccasins
From when he was a small boy
In a shadowbox
His musical statues
And his vinyl collection
They are part of the man I called Dad
Her scarf, and her hat
Notebooks that had her prayers written down
Valuable as gold to me
Her purse, her watch,
They are all part of the lady I called Mom
Bless them both....
