Not my colors
In this place they know me by my color,
Many verbal insults when I shine bright,
Physical, emotional, and much more.
Defying my right, to not be a white.

They say to go back to where I come from,
Where I fight beasts, and wake up to crows' call.
They say I'm a wipe for their dirty bum.
And I don't deserve to be in a ball.

Through these struggles, I squarely face my work,
And let those hate comments fall on deaf ear,
I scale the mountains while they just eat pork,
When I triumph, to meet me, they won't dare.

True, their acts hit me deeply like a stab,
All I must do is rise, and let them blab.
