The smile I made for you is all gone,

Of a child abandoned by a mother.

The night is so cold,
And this rejection is ice-cold too,
Freezing the emotions seated in me,
Emotions of joining a new world,
Emotions of meeting you mommy,
But the welcome you gave me was a cold one,
One that said this world is too cruel,
Too cruel for me to dare live in.

Bye bye mother,
I am going home to my father,
Maybe that was the only home for me,
Home to give me shelter and comfort,
Where this searing coldness will be no more,
Where the pain and anguish I feel will vanish,
Where no one will abandon me,
Where love and concern only exists.
