The pages of my old book,
Hold my memories of yesterday,
Every smile, every tear,
Every person who came my way
The pain they've caused
The laughter we shared
How our hearts cared even when scared.
The pages of my old book
tell the tales of my hidden soul than can never be spoken of.
Every word read, tells the emotion of the open wound, my eyes swollen I recall from the rainfall of my tears, the heartbreak that was painstakingly vocal from the silence of my heart.
The pages of my old book,
ages through time, many phrases of broken heart at the sound of my teardrops, I crack a laughter as
I'm still standing, the brokenness never slaughtered me, I laugh knowing that the pages of my old book is a soundtrack of my true strength
