Write it Out
I use poetry
To let out my pain
Instead of bottling up
My emotional rain
Because inside I know
That if I don’t get it out
I’ll run out of bottles
And it will all spill out
So don’t cry if you read this
And it makes you feel sad
Because writing this poem
Has made me feel glad
I can’t wallow in hurt
I can’t swim in my tears
I can’t cuddle my pain
Or drink up my fears
In some way or another
It all must come out
So this poem is my way
To let it all out
