Love manifests in diverse forms
Perhaps the reason our paths crossed
In my dim world colors slowly fade
Yet you emerged as a radiant rainbow
However rainbows are ethereal and fleeting
But leave an everlasting impression
Maybe that's why you still linger in my thoughts
Love takes varied forms and you were the love that came to me like the sun

I won't deny feeling envious towards the moon
How it gracefully orbits the earth
A dance that'll continue as long as they endure
Without the other, one can't exist
If you were the earth, I'd choose to be the moon
In our next life or another or another or forever
I would be the moon so I could continue to be around you

Things are fleeting like rainbows and summer breeze
Disappear without a trace to follow
The most beautiful moments are once to be felt
Nothing is everlasting
Forever is an illusion
Nothing is constant in nature
That's a shame but maybe the beauty of it all

The saying goes 'Trash to some, treasure to another'
Perhaps why memories transient to you are eternal to me
We can't be the moon or the earth
Just dots in this vast universe, mere specks, nothing else
Maybe that's why you now only reside in my imagination
My everlasting creation
Nothing is constant but my imaginations are as long as I live, they persist

Perhaps the rainbow no longer shines
But it lingers in the heart of the spectator
And maybe the wind no longer blows
But I know how it feels to be caressed by it
Someday when we meet, you'll be a different person than I knew
However you will still be the same for me

As long as the sun is,
as long as I exist,
you'll exist,
you'll live,
within me,
in me
