The freezing dark, and its bloody steel.
Tears my heart open, the pain seemingly so unreal.
My heart crying out bloody tears, screaming out to be saved.
No one willing to hear it, death in its cries has been engraved.
Dreams fallen to corrupted nightmares, spread through the crying winds.
Hell being for the innocent, and heaven for many whom committed sins.
Darkness has taken over my shadow,
Too scared to listen, too scared to breathe, my breath is getting shallow.
I can hear it now, mercy, such a perfect thing.
Let my heart rest, make its cries of pain go away, that it always must sing.
I'm lost in this great big world.
Why is life, so painful and cold...
