by a thread
every day my aching body becomes accustomed to the feeling of groggy
i am a mess in a dress who simply fools the rest
yet what they do not know is the secrets
they do not see crying on the floor
they do not hear mw screaming for more
more time
more chances
more thread to ease my stress
the tangled nest that i call my wonderful mess
i plead on my knees begging for more string
and hope that by spring my body will not sting
my heart will stop allowing pain
the seasons will call my name
and exclaim their joyous dismay to how far i’ve come
and display my growth while singing the oath
you made it!
