A broken soul's lament
Though life's burden heavy,
it seemed too much to bear,
Alone I stood against the storm,
without a helping hand to spare.
As my soul grew weary,
its pieces scattered in despair,
I realized the weight was far too much,
my spirit torn into bare,
I call for help,
but I'm ignored by the world's cold stare,
My liberty and dignity,
all thrown into the wind's gale,
And yet through it all,
I'm looking for the pieces of myself that I have lost.
