Once upon a time during undergrad
While marinating in the feeling of finally being off parents shackles
A friend and I went to night club
Had the party of our lives
Chugging down alcohol like empty barrels
Exhaling smokes like chimneys
Feeling flush and blooming like flower petals that tasted the sun
Relishing the freedom we finally got
Danced till our waists ached
Wasted and at the mercy of our alcohol filled brains

A one time experience i will give anything to relive
The world has tainted us now and we lack the innocence of then
The club experiences after are not the same, missing the new found freedom and hope for what the freedom brings
I still hope I can have that same experience again
