I hold on for a moment's time,
Only to realize that you were never mine,
I catch my breath as I stare at the stars,
Your silhouette dancing so lively, etching a place on my heart,
I may not be the best at saying things out loud,
But my written words are full of confidence of which I can be proud...
And so I sit in the silence in my head,
I seem to never forget,
You...
And all you have made me see.
For you challenge me to be free,
To embrace the things that make me
