Dead Wrld
A world once filled with life and light,
Now lies barren in the absence of sight,
Its soil cold, its skies pale and grey,
A dead world that has lost its way.

The oceans, once teeming with marine life,
Are now silent and devoid of strife,
The forests, once vibrant, have all but withered,
The air, once pure, is now thick and slithered.

The creatures that roamed have all gone,
Vanished without a trace, like a forgotten song,
Their cries no longer echo in the night,
Their presence erased by a silent blight.

The cities and towns, once bustling with souls,
Now lay in ruins, devoid of goals,
The streets are empty, the buildings crumble,
A desolate world that nature does humble.

The sun still rises, but the warmth is gone,
The moon still gleams, but the darkness has won,
The stars still twinkle, but in a lifeless sky,
A world once alive, now left to die.

Oh, dead world, what have we done,
To leave you like this, alone and undone,
Is it too late to reverse our fate,
To breathe life into you before it's too late?
