At a young age..
I must be in a new chapter,
Turning the page.
First year of highschool,
And you made it worthwhile.
Making me laugh and smile..
If I'm honest, I didn't think you wanted me.
That I was just another person,
Yet you set me free.
Brought me out for real,
And it became a reel.
I told you to "stop"..
To let me hide myself.
But you peeled back everything,
Just by yourself.
You made me feel like I was in a movie.
Where we're the two who fall in love,
And your words sway me smoothly.
Every second stuck in my mind,
Like a script.
Since we locked eyes, we clicked.
I miss you..every day since you left..
Please, be my guest,
Take this stress away,
The one weighted on my chest..
Your voice lingers, your touch lingers,
Your words linger.
God, to feel your fingers graze on my skin,
Making me feel like a sinner.
The songs you'd play for me on a guitar,
I still play the ones you showed me..
It stings to play..feels like an opened scar.
It's lonely without you here with me.
Some told me I'm better without you,
I disagree.
You made me happy as I did you.
I miss you grabbing my sides..
Bringing me into you.
Your scent stuck in my head like glue.
I've been trying to get you out of my head,
But it feels like I'm losing oxygen when I try.
It's silly..cheesy even..
But it makes me want to die.
I know you and me aren't done,
As our chapter never finished.
It may have been diminished,
We didn't have much time..
Yet it felt like I've known you,
Since a lifetime..
Is it wrong to want you back?
Tell me it's not..
My stomach's in a knot.
You're the reason I smile,
When the moon rises..
You're the reason I act like a stone,
Even when I've been alone..
You're the reason, I miss those eyes
The ones that i used to stare in,
And reprise..
