the Butterfly Effect
The butterfly effect:

She, her
All woman
Lost and found
A free spirit, trapped
An old soul, starved and unfed
Yet remains unfettered
Yet no harbour in which to dock
She travels turbulent seas
Dazed and confused
Such purity
Wasted in such a world as this
Stoney grounds
Below her feet
She retains her smile
Despite everything
Her heart remains a beautiful place
A glorious juxtaposition
An entangled superposition
One impossible to manage
Let alone comprehend
Mere mortals out in the cold
She has the life of a fire
Can I completely step in
And burn with her
Resistance is futile
Or so it should be
Am I so damaged
I can’t take that step
My baggage and battles
Holding me back
Tempestuous waters
leaving me spent
With no land in sight
Fear of the harbour
And what happens next
Scary incomprehensible
She is the curvature of nature
To taste her soul, let her fill me
A karmic love it teaches you
A soul-level love is transformational
Rippling through all of time and space
The butterfly effect
