Two lovers reunited in heaven,
for the world couldn't let them,
celebrate their selfless love,
for the time they were on earth.
The love that was departed incomplete,
finally found its purpose
under the light of the almighty.

Far away from the mist of evils,
yet too close to fulfillment.
They swung in each other's arms,
with the clouds as their platform.
The divinity of being each other's,
but not for life, as their life was over.

When they thought that death,
could tear them apart.
But God felt merciful,
and blessed them with what they deserved.
They couldn't make it happen,
in hours below the sky.
Maybe this was truly the reason why,
they received each other as rewards.

The stars couldn't work in their favor,
for as long as they counted them.
Their fate called for a union in heaven,
maybe this is what it meant.

Now they lay the closest to each other,
with no forces willing to separate them.
How could they have imagined,
the universe made of such serenity?
where not a single soul,
would ever harm them,
and they'd be together,
with her heart on one side,
and his on the other.

They might not have fulfilled their dreams,
of living with entwined hands for eternity,
but at least they reunited,
after they could no longer breath.
