I ventured into the ocean's vast expanse,
Seeking solace from the anguish that beset me,
Yearning to liberate myself from the turbulent tides
Of emotions that threatened to consume me whole.
But alas, the river's gentle flow could not assuage
My sorrow, and I found myself succumbing to the depths,
Until, summoning the fortitude that lay within,
I burst forth from the waves, gasping for the sweet release
Of air, and affirming my unyielding resolve to persevere,
For death and despair could not claim me, nor would I succumb.
