THE SEA OF MY LIFE
Waking up late at night,
Looking at the flickering sea under the moonlight.
Shivering, trembling due to the cold winter night,
I wish you were here, to make me warm, by your touch.
As I'm looking to the boat glided over,
In the moonlight sparkling water.
The waves as it dances on the seashore,
Through the rhythmic of our favourite song.
I closed my eyes, your picture is on my mind
Just to console myself and make me feel alright.
It's you, my dear, I missed so much
Trying to ease the pain while you are not around.
I'm longing to be with you
Wishing to kiss you
like a butterfly as they kiss to the flower.
As I stood there all alone on the beach.
I wanna feel your warm embrace,
Your sweet love and tender caress.
Oh dear, my honey, the sea of my life,
My star, my moon who brighten up my life.
My heart, my love, the song of my soul,
My inspiration to write a poem.
