Window Sill Dreams
It feels so long since we last spoke
You said those words and my heart broke
I longed for you to change your mind
And call for me to be by you side
It never came and it never will
I'm all alone sitting in this window sill
Its been so long I must admit
So why has my heart not called it quits
You made your choice and said goodbye
I still wished you stay and I wished tried
I saw a future, with happiness and love
You were my everything, my Mr right, enough
You were afraid and I understand
I wish you could have opened up, held my hand
Growth and change and change are never easy
Even I still feel my stomach get queasy
My heart still longs for you to be near once again
But my mind could never let go of what happened then
