No matter how hard we try,
It is yet an another promise being broken!
It was never intended,
Finishing it off was never the plan.
The heavy heart waiting to be lifted ,
Tearing away the pleasure felt,
Pleading forgiveness,
Trying to put the pieces back together!
Bashed with too many questions,
"Is it right to make it right?
Will it be the same?
Or will we be the change?"
Waiting for that one right person to answer,
Knowing that wouldn't happen.
But,
It is that heat i still remember
And the guilt I'll never forget.
