While writing this journal,
I met him - A Perfectly Flawed
And Flawlessly imperfect man
He was Eighteen as I recalled,
The first time that I met him,
I was at my absolute worst,
I told him about this journal,
In it, he was quite immersed:
I told him what it was made for
I found him to be wiser at words,
I learnt more in life than I ever did,
From him and his rational thoughts,
Apparently he already met Chief,
The man who had taught me previously
The ways of life that I noted down
He learnt of them first, way before me.
I am but a lost soul, within faint light's reach,
I simply had no idea what was coming for me,
But Wise men knows what they really need,
He became a companion to me in this life's journey;
Slowly turning into a significant other,
It was rather just the beginning of it all,
Three years have passed by, slowly but surely
He still stands by my side, even as I fall.
