A surprise from heaven without preparation
Dancing in puddles is a comical sight
Laughing so hard, we can’t take it easy

Splish, splash in the rain, what a whimsical tale
Dripping wet, like a wet dog wagging its tail
Umbrella inside out, messy hair
Life is a joke in this downpour stress

Raindrops on our skins, bubbly matter
Slip and slide, we swear by grace
Mud on our faces, muddy grins
Singing in the showers, where craziness begin

Splash in puddles, a funny twist
Raincoats upside down, we laugh and learn
Thunderclaps sound like a big drumroll
In this wet madness, we find our roles

Lost in time, Looney Tunes, a nostalgic dream
Political culture’s grip, is tougher than it seems
Kermit, Piggy, Winnie, Tigger, such real characters
Who can save them now, who will see them through

The water all around us is a humorous display
Water water everywhere with us everyday
We wash we bath we clean our bodies good
We scrub and rub in a bathtub everyday just like we should

Drip drip don’t slip on the lip of the bathtub watch your step
Let the warm drops from the water in your step out a little pep
When the water hits your skin everyday you feel clean and pure within
And we lift our hands to Heaven saying God take away our sin

The rains come down all over town just like the water in a tub
We can take this rhyme as a lesson as it fills like a sinking sub
And just like Bert and Ernie singing rub a dub dub in their tub
We can always find solace knowing we renew with a gentle rub
