I have lived an unbelievably dark night
But the most beautiful part is I survived
I have come out standing on the other end
I have learned my strengths and I still stand
My power of love has been untouched
Your love of power, not so much
But follow me and you shall rise
Your greatest gifts lie there inside
Let go of all those earthly things
And pay close attention to the joy it brings
I lead you not into trouble or terror
Trust my word and find no error
Your days will again bring joy and light
The dark will falter and then turn bright
Peace you will find nearly anywhere
You will breathe a new, fresh breath of air
The world will no longer look cold and bleak
You shall easily find all that you seek
Love is the answer and the only way
It is how I survived to see this day
In my darkest hours, I nearly fell
As my mind took me to the pits of hell
But then I remembered your beautiful face
And knew I had to escape this place
I fought and fought with all my might
And I let love be my guiding light
Just when I thought I couldn't win
I was made to see, the key was within
There inside me all along
I had just been viewing it all wrong
True love will never lead to defeat
It's a weapon that nothing can ever beat
Just remember this when you lose your way
Love will always save the day
