I'm feeling inspired to share this gift of mine with you
I'll keep it short and sweet because I've got other things to do
You can't hide the fact that you're a monster any longer
As my desire to forgive grows weak ,my ability to move on get stronger
The truth has come to light and has now become old news
I guess that means upon release you'll find someone else to abuse
Now I know the truth is that the whole time you were Faking It
You refused to give me closure but this would be me taking it
I pray for whoever the next victim is you choose
This chapter I can finally close by now I've paid my dues
"Time well wasted" is the term, that with good reason comes to mind
The Lessons Learned I'll take with me , the rest I leave behind
"I'll Never Be That Girl" I've learned one should never say
I'm humble because I've learned you just might eat your words someday
And when that day comes and you find in actuality
Instead of finding strength within you find weakness in reality
Eat your slice of Humble Pie let it shape who you become
Forgiveness of yourself is to love yourself and once you've got that mastered
Stronger or weak youll be equipped to make it through disaster
I'm sure there's more but it's okay
My point to all this is just to say
You didn't leave me with less for sure
I'm doing my thang like never before
This last thing to say and then this poem can end
You taught me what I don't want and to more wisely pick my friends
so thank you
