Just live
A quiet soul,
That was my first
impression of you.

A true beauty,
With a body that had
Curves in all the right places.
I thought, "What an interesting being."

But oh, how time flies.
Your first words I remember you asked me for help, and as you took your seat beside me, I daily realized you are anything but a quiet soul.

Secretive,
a foodie,
And a girl who has adopted my water-drinking skills,
I saw things in you that made me laugh to oblivion.

You told stories of how you held on,
And memories that embarrassed you on end, And in all that, I saw a girl who was trying to hold on, and be like others.

Maybe it was the pressure of trying to fit in, or may be it was easier that way, but that's how you've lived,
as I have gotten to know you more, I've see how you try with most of your effort to make others who are around happier than yourself.

I love your sense of fashion.
How your vintage outfits seems to align with modern ones, and how you make it look really simple and cute. And even then, I think you didn't really lose your whole self to the world.

It shows in your little acts of kindness,
Your photography moments,
And how you always forget your clients and then have this confused face on of what's going on.

I like how you laugh, and how you have to go to activations sometimes, you just microwave your food, seat down, and have the time of your life.

I've seen you sick,
Full to the brim,
Happy,
Annoyed,
Rare moments of peace,
Shocked, embarrassed,
And a whole lot confused.

And in all occasions,
Your melanin skin always sworn brighter than radiating sunflowers blossoming in spring. You are flawlessly beautiful, and I don't think I'll ever get enough of saying that.

You love comfort it seems,
Because it makes you feel safe,
I see it in how you repeat hairdos because it's something you familiar with, and how you always go home every other weekend because that's your safe haven.

Live sweetheart.
Spark a moment of joy in the things that you do, and things you never thought you could do.

Enjoy life, eat sushi,
Drink virgin cocktails,
And take a swim with the sharks,
Be spontaneous.

I promise it's not the worst thing you could ever do. Fall, get up again because I promise you, the steps you take after the fall will be firmer.

Don't be so hard on yourself,
And hold yourself accountable for every little thing that isn't important.

Skydive if you must to let loose,
Because sometimes falling isn't the most destructive discomfort you can resort too.

What's life without little flare?
