Your existence gives someone hope
Dear Someone-YOU,

This letter is for you, you that’s allowing the low frequency of guilt and regret to occupy more space and time in your life. You that’s pretending to be you and has forgotten who you are. You that’s trying to impress others rather than working on yourself. This letter is for you, you that is feeling powerless living in other peoples worlds and you that’s looking backward with regrets instead of looking forward with hope.

Don’t get lost in your pain. Don’t get lost trying to be who you are not. Don’t throw away your time fantasing of someone who doesn’t want you. You only have one life – right now – and that’s all you have. As you breathe right now, another person takes his last. So stop complaining and learn to live your life with what you have. Don’t take your life for granted and don’t live your life for someone else. Most valuable, stop letting bad people proofread your vision. It doesn’t matter in whatever situation life has kept you, you can’t change how people feel about you in that situation, so don’t try. Just live your life and be happy. Don’t be in that controlling relationship – life is too short to waste your life on the negative energy of others.

It’s not your job to change people’s mind about you. Live your life like somebody left the gate open. Don’t second guess what you do in fear of someone else’s opinion. Be yourself irrespective of the street of life you are in. People will always find something in you to talk about. So live your life for you and worry less. If you live your life exactly as others expect, they’ll one day gather around your deathbed to either thank you for chasing it or judge you for not chasing it according to their rules.

Give yourself permission to walk away from things that no longer serves you. Stop feeling ugly in your own skin or anything less than the amazing person you are. Don’t be afraid to post selfies. Don’t be afraid to walk away from a relationship that is destroying your self esteem. Don’t live your life to get validation from others. Don’t sell your existence in other to please anyone in the name of love or marriage. Don’t be afraid of hurting people and remember to say no if it’s not good for your soul.

Live your life to the fullest with no regrets. Live your life and forget your age. Don’t die at age 25 only to be buried when you are 80. Life is too short for you to not live a life of purpose. You’re not your salary and your pay check doesn’t define you. You’re not your house and you’re not your car. You are not where you were born. You are not the circumstances around you. You’re not your situation. You are not what other people say of you. So don’t be afraid to touch, to feel and to show emotion. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own.

Until next time, do not live your life in the confines of your present – the future has plenty of room for change. Wake up and live your life how you want it. Go after what you want. Live your life trusting God and knowing that He has your best interests at heart. Live your life knowing that God has seen the end of your journey from the beginning. Live your life knowing that God is still changing lives and that His mercies will speak for you today.

In Him,
~Papa-GOD.
