Michael and Roy
In the hallowed halls of our Creator's lore,
Where whispers of wisdom weave tales of yore,
Two humble souls, Brother Roy and Brother Michael, bore
A message of unity to the hearts they implore.
"Look," said Roy, "at the tapestry woven so fine,
Of nations and cultures that dance in God's line,
Each thread a story, a verse in time's rhyme,
A melody sung to the Creator divine."
"Indeed," added Michael, "like stars in the sky,
We're scattered, yet bound by a heavenly tie,
In His image we live, and by His hand we abide,
To walk faithfully under the same guiding light sublime."
What is this quest we undertake each day?
But to follow the path He did lay?
Where rivers of doubt and fear may sway,
We ask, "How do we live in His holy way?"
The answer lies not in walls we construct,
Or the flags we hoist, proud of our own aspect,
But in bridges we build, by love's perfect tinct,
Where hearts of every hue, in union reflect.
For we are the children of one sacred pact,
Birthed from the earth, by the same breath drawn back,
Through trials and triumphs, forever intact,
Our destinies...
