Mind wanders in lost meadows,
like a figurine followed by its shadow…
Happy, sad, angry, hollow…
emotions umpteen,
too much to swallow
taking turns in myriad hues,
sometimes ecstatic,
at times feeling blues…
fake or real,
difficult to choose..
may confuse but amuse,
make one lively or recluse…
heart feels that mind never knew,
one life,too much to chew….
for treading the path of virtue,
the colors shown will be true!
