She sat awaiting in her chair,
the ground received her gazing stare,
awaiting the friend who would never be there,
they had said to meet at eight o clock,
but the time had passed and they hadn’t knocked,
she sat alone in sadness yet,
till a knock occured and the two of them met,
“I feared you weren’t coming” she began,
“I would never abandon you,”said Stan.

and she knew she had misjudged.
