I BEG TO BE SAVED
I'm restricted by walls,
Held by chains,
Stuck in a shackle,
Locked in a cage.
For there is no escape,
From this insane misery,
And the fire gets hotter,
Like the sweat dripping off my chin.
What I did wrong, I know not of,
Yet like a criminal, I'm kept hostage.
Though I can't see the lurking shadows,
Nor break from the tight chains,
But I know that one day the cackling will end,
And yes I'll be free.
For that day, I cannot wait,
But for the meantime, the fire still burns,
Consuming me like sacrificed meat.
I beg to be saved from this living hell,
Where anguish ceases to end.
