Today is the day!
My heart beats fast,
The excitement I can't contain
Oh how long will it last?

As I start scribbling my pen
Smell of black ink fills the room
The start was rough as it is as then

I'll start with a little hello
It was a bit awkward
But I hope it was not shallow

I will start to write
Thoughts filled my head
The words easily come so light

Because today is the day,
I became a poet for thee
The leash has come off
Like the path hast been marked by destiny
