Morning pages or "brain dump"
It's a great habit, they say
Well I tried that and many more
All I want is to feel cosy
With all my heart,mind,body and soul
Autumn is here
Nature asking me to slow down
Pause and reflect
Cuddling with a loved one
Snuggling up with a book
A cup of green tea
Or maybe hot chocolate
Creating a mood board
Just for me to see
Stringing pine cones
Lighting candles
Weaving stories
Letting myself just be
Lots of orange and browns
Golden yellows and warm greens
Wherever I see
Throwing on an extra layer of warmth
Also boundaries to protect my soft heart
Waiting for halloween
Never ate a pumpkin
The same for trick or treating
But I know all about a jack o'lantern
Fuzzy socks and pumpkin spice latte
I'd rather be warm and comfy
Thank you,I love the snow too
But I changed my mind when I tripped and fell,boohoo!
