City lights growing in the dark,
Looking upward to the evening sky,
Watching the road moving past,
Lights displaying inside the windows,
Golden color and shades of brown and of pure whiteness,
Moonlight swallowing the buildings in it's brilliance,
The source of natural light,
Sending the tides of the earth rising and falling,
Giving darkness to the light of day,
The hope of our destination from before,
The thing we look up to, through the loneliness of our hearts,
Beneath the stars we lie,
Hoping for something deep,
Blending through the atmosphere,
The graceful movements of the air we breathe,
Our motions circling at the earth,
Of the oceans reflecting the mirror of the night we live in,
The moon casting it's form in our eyes that sees beauty,
In the night,
Embracing the moment.
Our eyes closing,
For the day to rise,
Opening them to a world of tomorrow.
