Upgradation Of My Downgraded Self
UPGRADATION OF MY DOWNGRADED SELF(abcd)

The aura of night kissed my cheeks
and promised to give a new happy day.
But little did I know,
rather than making it, it will break it.
So, I lightened up a candle
made the night alight
said to myself,
you'll be alright, you'll be okay & you will be fine!

I climbed every mountain over mountain
though it was not easy to do when
people looked down upon me
but then, I knew, the happiness I'll get in the end will be priceless
so I dried my eyes, swayed the palm on the cloth
standing up, chinned up, looking into the mirror
said to myself,
you'll be alright, you'll be okay & you will be fine!

First time I saw you, and
the next thing I knew, I was falling for you
A smile touched my expressionless face
but, my stream of hope for you is just a mirage, still smiling, that it flickered across my blushed cheeks
But I, turned around, hair slapping my curved lips
and secretly with bowed head, wiped away the tears
said to myself,
you'll be alright, you'll be okay & you will be fine!

Me staring at the ceiling, when life is like a talkie
I saw the fan, it's alone, me too
but it's tenaciously high up, then why is my environment being fictional?
it hurts, hurts more when you're bleeding to prove you're alive and it's all true.
So, I got up, sat straight on the mattress
Looked at my own misery when voices claimed it's depression and,
said to myself,
you'll be alright, you'll be okay & you will be fine!

It's breaking me down, into pieces
welcome! the fears that controlled me have arrived
Am saying, it's not knowledge but a competition
between me and my peers. People are learning stuff,
so that they achieve a good score
again, It's not knowledge it's checking the capacity of the brain
I sat down on my desk, planning to imitate
When my heart shook hands with the brain
and both voting 'no, this examination isn't for your use.' But I
said to myself,
you'll be alright, you'll be okay & you will be fine!

NO, people don't deserve my sweetness, so I
reformed into a bitter version
They thought I was stone-hearted, but didn't think why?
Inside,I kept chanting, 'it's okay to cry but not in front of people'
So, I rushed back into my solitude
And cried my lungs out until the pain was washed away. Then.
said to myself,
you'll be alright, you'll be okay & you will be fine!

The next day, I opened my eyes
the sun rays scratched my skin, I heeded,
the aura of night fulfilled the promise it made,
I was watching my destiny in awe.
but now, without bleeding, knew that the glorious life
which I believed and have been longing for is here, so I, standing steady
said to myself,
you're alright, you're okay & you are fine!
