'Discussions' With Life
It's long been stated that misery loves to keep company
Slighting the fact that life is abject worked out badly for me
When we veer from the clear counsel of our moral compass
Life is always right there— lying in wait— ready to 'discuss'
When life has to 'talk to us'— fractures 'form' in our facade
The more we morally stray— the more they progress— the more broad
The foully formed faults are able to eternally become
'Til they span the surface— 'til they fill each cranny and then some
Until we become more fractured than any facade can take
Then our facades crisply crumble and at long last we break
