An answer?
I've always been quick-witted,
With answers to questions, I've never quit
We both sat under a tree as he asked "What do you want to be?"
It left me breathless

Through the years, my dreams did sway,
Changing paths, like colors in disarray.
From being a doctor to a dancer I even learnt ballet
But I do know better that's not the answer to this question it was a different thing it conveyed

I yearned for purpose, a meaning so profound,
To heal the wounds, buried deep underground.
Yet, as I gazed into his eyes, I could see,
His longing for happiness, just like me.

In that moment, our souls intertwined,
Seeking solace, and leaving pain behind.
