Resurrection
So many years I have spent on this earth and some more to complete my life,
I have learnt and unlearned so many things to become the version I am today.
I have grown and evolved only with the difficulties spread on my way
and through the uncouth behaviour of people
I have shed the ill actions of mine.
If you call me strong and beautiful, it is only because I have accepted to let go things and value peace over emotions.
But being strong has never been easy, it has taken away all my strength to stick to my rules.
I have come a long way and this journey has been very tough.
Like a river that dances all through the way
from mountain to plain and then ages before falling into the sea succumbing to its doom,
I have danced to all the beats in my musical life, falling down and rising again.
I am the master of my craft and I feel joy in its creation.
But it came at a heavy price. And things do become expensive and sturdy when it suffers a lot.
Sometimes when I look back, I see I have transformed a lot, from a weakling I have become a tree that heavy storms fail to break.
I am happy, the way I am and wish to spread peace in the few more years of mine, until a tsunami comes and uproots me and washes me away.
But, don't think that it is my end, I will sprout again from the earth's bosom as the seed does after the rain.
I am that strong that nothing can obliterate me.
I will come in new form to spread the word of love again.
