My heart's wearable
Sometimes,
all you have,
to cherish
& perish with–
is your Heart.
Somedays, it hangs
in a dark corner, lonely
in a closet & sucking
all damaging vicinities
within,
You feel like
you don't own it, it's
just not yours to keep.
But you can wear it,
you feel it around you.
It fits you perfectly &
earns you smiles you
couldn't purchase.
You ooze around
streets, ignoring
drunkards on the booze
in its beautiful colors,
Well, they shout
high at you because,
Your heart you're wearing
is quiet & quite
inevitably...
all you have,
to cherish
& perish with–
is your Heart.
Somedays, it hangs
in a dark corner, lonely
in a closet & sucking
all damaging vicinities
within,
You feel like
you don't own it, it's
just not yours to keep.
But you can wear it,
you feel it around you.
It fits you perfectly &
earns you smiles you
couldn't purchase.
You ooze around
streets, ignoring
drunkards on the booze
in its beautiful colors,
Well, they shout
high at you because,
Your heart you're wearing
is quiet & quite
inevitably...
