Nature's Profound Beauty...
#WorldPoetryDay
As I wandered through the woods one day,
The sun was setting, the sky painted gray,
The trees were silhouetted in a golden hue,
The air was still, with a peaceful view.
I stopped to listen, and heard a rustling sound,
A deer, so graceful, bounding around,
Her eyes met mine, and we shared a stare,
A moment in nature, so rare and so fair.
The birds chirped, a symphony of song,
A lullaby, to which I could belong,
The breeze carried the scents of the forest,
A perfect moment, nothing more, nothing less.
The sun dipped below the horizon,
The sky was painted pink and crimson,
I felt a sense of peace, so pure,
A feeling I'll forever cherish and adore.
Nature has a way of moving the soul,
And in that moment, I was made whole,
A reminder of the beauty around,
A moment in nature, so profound.
