When I Was Younger
When I was younger, everything was simple
Things were easier; people were happier
It was bliss
But being young also means growing up
Growing up is realizing things will get harder; you'll be older, stronger, wiser
Knowing people change
You can know a person for years and still never really know anything about them
And then you'll meet new people who'll you'll also regard as strangers
As a child, you hold on to what you've got because everything is so pure
When I was younger, the world was beautiful, child's play
Simple
Oh, how I miss the days!
When can I be like a child again?
When can I be happy?
