Dear Self - An Original Poem
Self, how are you dear
I have missed you so much already, have you already conquered your fear?
Did you remember what I taught you back then
That you will pick up that dropped pen?
It seems that you have forgotten already
That you are this petty
You are not even pretty
You are not worth a single penny
I may be harsh, whether you hate me or not
I am just in your mind, how can you stop me, when I am not there
Fools like you, always believe in the doctors diagnosis
Wake up, you are having an existential crisis
Learn to toughen yourself up
For you to fight back and reach at the final lap
There are more harsher people than me
I am not like them who would not say "I am sorry"
I am a manifestation of your mind,
Not one of your kind
Look for the path you want to find
There your fate will be entwined
For your future ahead of you is bright
