The Wilted Unraveling
Silken and wound
Reaching up from the ground.
It's beauty so unmatched.

The scent of its bloom
Can fill up a room
Absorbing the sun
Is it's passion.

Releasing it's aroma
To our breath, and appeal.
A dozen, a heart they all steal.

A rose as it's known,
it's seed may be sown.
Arose for our eyes to enjoy.

What's the attraction
to all a distraction
no matter if girl or a boy!

When left all alone
ignored, and neglected
the sadness can bend what's erected.

Now with it silted,
this flower has wilted
as this once proud beaut
hangs it's head low.

All pedals surround
as all fell to the ground
Nothing but a stem of itself

The shattering vase
that held it in place
a sign that life is a cycle.

Whispering wind swept
picking up all that was left
carrying it's seed to the dirt
That marvelous wonder
once unraveled it's plunder
lift the spirit from lasting it's hurt!
