Kalleighs Poem
Youngest child to come by yet,
looks like her mom, just like the rest.
Her daddy's mouth and her mommy's smile,
her sisters pout and her brothers guile,
makes one ornery little girl,
and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Daddys here baby no need to worry,
lay on back i'll tell a story,
about a girl, about your age,
who was loved in every way,
Her name is Kalleigh,
Miss Kalleigh Day.
She was precious like the last red rose,
before winter comes with its first snows.
I'll hold you tight through the cold,
and when spring comes
I'll watch you grow.
