I do remember,
If not the words, the number
Of times I made to you a promise
Never to see to the painful demise
Of our love.
But all I see now is a barricade.
That seems to deter our moving together
Setting slowly our love on raid.
Ready, to break my troth.

Even if I seem not to talk to you anymore
I'll never forget I made to you a promise.
To love you more and more.
Love, they say is patient.
Whether my wait is transient
Or perhaps, forever
My mind still dey for you .

I shall wait
In the forenoon,
In the post meridian and twilight.
Even if it numbs my being.
Well, I'll go once again that extra mile..
