The past does make a difference,
It does matter.
It teaches us where we come from,
It warns us of common dangers.

But true Love is more powerful,
It rewrites the memories,

The past makes us who we are,
It makes us strong.
It can tear you apart,
And separate the close ones.

Love reunites,
Weakens the strong and humbles monsters.
It rewrites the memories.

The past can destroy,
Can build an angry nation.
It’s called history,
And it focuses on the bad and the sad.

Love builds,
Creates a happy nation.
It’s called the future,
And it focuses on the beauty and the happy.

But the PAST does not die,
It does not lie,
And it can’t be forgotten.

LOVE has the tendency of dying,
Symptoms are recalling the PAST.
LOVE deceives and soon gets forgotten.

The PAST overcomes LOVE,
If the LOVERS aren’t strong enough,
The PAST peeps in and overwrites the rewritten memories.
