If only wishes can come true,
I have one or two or maybe a few,
And they're all about you,
If fantasies & fairytales were true,
You would love me now too,
And I wouldn't be in grief & rue.

Our differences broke us apart,
Things didn't work as we thought,
And left us with bruises in heart,
I think we loved less & fought a lot,
Instead of bridges we built walls,
Instead of talking we made catcalls.

We did nothing to make ammends,
We choose not to listen or apprehend,
Pity!We fell like a pack of playing cards,
Shattered easily into million glass shards,
We loved each other to the moon once,
But now we didn't stand a chance.

Still now I reminisce about you sometime,
Without you like a child I whine,
I still have dreams and desires sometime,
To be with you till the end of time,
I promise you a better a brighter day,
Where we will be walking together on way,
On the beaches in the moonlit night,
Loving each other and making it right.
